An Iranian Supercomputer

A research team at Tehran's Amirkabir University of Technology has designed and manufactured the country's fastest supercomputer.

Only a few countries posses the technology to make this type of super-fast computer which can process more than 860 billion operations per second.

A 860 gigaflops. Keep in mind they're now deploying 100 teraflop+ machines in the first world of HPC. They're even taking a crack at petaflop machines too.
